Quick video of my DDM Tuning 55w 6000K HIDs installed in my '08 GSXR 750's low beam projector. The light this puts out is awesome, although I may replace the 6000k bulb with a 5000k one, it's a bit blue. Also shown are HID match bulbs in the highbeams, also from DDM, and a White LED in the parking light. DDMs HIDs rule, cheap and work great!

A projector lamp is more expensive than any other light bulbs. Therefore it is important that you know how to take care of this. Many people change projector lamps here and there, they do not know how to take care of this.

There are many ways to increase the life of projector bulbs. If you follow the advice that I can share with you in this article, you can place the lamp lasts longer.

Before you leave the projector lampcool. You should not move the lamp of the projector right after usage. Even after you have switched off the projector, the lamp will be very hot. When you move the projector while the bulb is still hot, it will burst. So after you have switched off the projector, let it cool for a few minutes. Make sure that the fan has a minimum of 2 to 3 feet room to breathe.

4. Keep the projector at the right place. Temperature is a very important factor that determines the lifespan of your projector. Some people like to leave their projectors in the car under scorching sunlight or inside the car without air conditioning. The quick change of temperature will cause the light bulb to burst. Therefore, do not leave your projector in extreme heat. If you are putting your projector in a room, make sure that the room is big enough so that other objects don't bump into it.

So bear these tips in mind if you want to increase the lifespan of your projector lamp. If the lamp of your projector breaks down often, it is time to implement the following tips now.
